Gary Branhan has had over 40 years of winemaking experience here in California from wineries as small as Stony Hill to as large as Sutter Home. He has seen it all. Gary was also one of the first to pioneer planting vineyards in the remote Sonoma County's Rockpile appellation. This area is so far 'off the grid' that they measure it by how far 'off the concrete' they are. It is a higher elevation appellation and, as the name implies, has very rocky and rugged terrain. We thought so highly of his 2014 Rockpile Zinfandel that we chose it as one of our Q1 2017 Wine Club selections. Gary also owns vineyards in Napa valley. Come and meet Gary and hear some of his many stories about the last 40+ years in the wine industry.
