The Beaujolais region of France is nestled in between Burgundy to the north and the Rhone to the south.  Gamay is the primary grape grown there.  It produces a very juicy fresh and lively style of red wine.  We will be exploring some of the different versions that are made there.  Included in the tasting will be a 2016 Nouveau Beaujolais which is always fun to try as it is the first wine of the vintage.
