Owned by the Castor family, the Saint-Nabor Estate is situated in the southern part of the Rhone Valley in the south of France.  The terroir in this portion of the Rhone is very diverse.  The soils on the terrace are chalk and clay which produce powerful, well-structured red wines.  The soils on the low hillsides are limestone and clay which produce light and aromatic whites.  The Estate produces a combination of 50% red wines, 35% rose wines and 15% white wines.  The Chateau Saint-Nabor 2015 Cotes du Rhone Blanc (our 'Wild Card' import this quarter) is a delightful, unoaked blend of 80% Rousanne, 10% Grenache Blanc and 10% Ugni Blanc that displays beautiful fruit and balanced acidity.  Only 150 cases imported into the U.S.  Please join us this Monday as we welcome Jeremie Castor who has traveled all the way from the family estate in France to present his family's wines.
