Established in 1840, Dourthe is a French wine company that currently owns 9 different estate wineries in Bordeaux. It has more than 1,200 acres of vineyards and has a unique collection of wines representing the different terroirs, styles and levels of quality available in Bordeaux. Frédérick Bonnaffou is the head winemaker for all of the wineries in the Dourthe portfolio. After working at various other Bordeaux estates his career with Dourthe began in 2002 when he was appointed director of Dourthe’s Château Belgrave (Grand Cru Classé Haut Medoc). Over the subsequent years he was given more and more responsibility over some of their other wineries until 2011 when he was appointed director of the entire Dourthe portfolio of estates. Please join us as we welcome Frédérick to lead us through a tasting of a memorable line-up of his wines.
