| Every wine that comes in our store first goes through a selection process. We take 5 ounce samples of every wine that is brought to us by winery representatives and distributors. The owner, the wine buyer, and other members of the staff taste through the wines, create tasting notes, and collectively decide if we feel the wine has a place in our store at the current time. It is blind tasting in a sense that the wine is evaluated away from the label and the sales representative, and thought about over a couple days time. Since more than one person tastes the wines, we are able to bring in wines with a variety of flavor profiles that satisfy different palates. We focus on high quality wines as well as good value. And wines that are drinking well now and/or ten years from now. We sacrifice our time so we can save your time... you may not walk away with your favorite wine every time but we can promise you it will never be a bad wine. |
