Nate Welch

Nate is the assistant manager at California Wine Merchant. Having recently recieved his Teacher Certification he is currently not practicing while he pursues his wine interests.

Brant Foehl

Brant is full-time at the Wine Merchant. He hails from wine country having grown-up in Sonoma County. Brant has a Wine Certificate from the Don Kinnan International Wine Seminar and the Somelier Certificate from the California Culinary Academy. Jay Esopenko

Jay works part-time at California Wine Merchant and also owns a bar catering service with his wife, Melissa. Jay has a broad knowledge of wine and has recently completed the Court of Masters Sommelier Certificate Program in Napa.

Zakk Murphy

Zakk is our resident musician. With over 10 years working in the industry (Viansa and Bonny Doon) Zakk's California wine knowledge is extensive. Look out for Zakk's band The Whiskey Thieves playing around town. Zakk's favourites: Ancien Pinot Noir, J Rose Brut

Carrie Sanders
